The Stars front office right now is a mess they have fired GM Doug Armstrong and today team president Jim Lites is stepping down. Lites is stepping down as president of the Stars, a decision he said was mutual with owner Tom Hicks. Lites will take an expanded role in the Hicks Sports Group. The Stars have named Jeff Cogen as the new team president. Cogen, the president of the Rangers, got his start in Dallas when Lites hired him to be the vice president of marketing and promotions with the Stars in 1993. He was eventually promoted to the position of Rangers president.
Well don't Stars fans fell all better now knowing that the Rangers president is now with the Stars?
Tom Hicks might be one hell of a business man but he has proven time after time he doesn't know squat about owning a sports team. Sell Tom please!!!!
